Este tema se encuentra en el álbum “Sia This is Acting”, es el séptimo álbum que sacó la cantante Sia el 29 de enero del 2016 por la productora Inertia, Monkey Puzzle y RCA. Se trata principalmente de un álbum de electropop, que se compone de canciones escritas por Sia que fueron rechazadas por otras artistas femeninas de pop.
La duración de esta canción es de 3:41s en su audio oficial, Sia estrenó “Unstoppable” el 20 de enero de 2016, días antes de la fecha de lanzamiento del álbum. La canción marcó el sexto sencillo utilizado para promocionar el álbum antes de su lanzamiento.
Este tema a recibo muchos comentarios positivos acerca del mensaje que transmite, uno de los comentarios es el de, Emilee Lindner (integrante de la MTV) dice que «anima a aquellos que se sienten débiles para poner su armadura». Por otra parte, ella escribió que «la canción parece que está tomando el mensaje de su canción publicada anteriormente, “Alive” (2015), y dándole un impulso. En lugar de simplemente sobrevivir, ella va a demostrar a la gente que va a tener éxito, y va verse bien. Daniel Kreps de Rollong Stones llamó la canción como “triunfal”, con un “puño de bombeo” y “coro de pared sensacional”.
